Child Welfare

Chalfont Otters are committed to ensuring that the welfare of our members is always considered. Safeguarding our swimmers is everybody’s responsibility and we aim to ensure that the health, safety, and welfare of our swimmers is at the forefront of everything we do. We want all our swimmers to maximise their potential within the club in an environment that is safe and secure.

Our welfare officers are responsible for all safeguarding matters within the club, they can be contacted on [email protected]. Our welfare officers are trained and experienced in safeguarding. If you are worried or have a concern about a swimmer, our Welfare Officers will be able to help. All matters are dealt with in absolute confidence.

Swim England Support

Wavepower is Swim England’s Child Safeguarding Policies and Procedures manual. As a club we adopt the Swim England safeguarding policies and procedures as laid out in the Wavepower Documentation. This is the framework we will follow in any safeguarding matters.
