Volunteer helpers

The club depends on a dedicated pool of volunteers to support our swimmers, who give back to the club by enabling our swimmers to take part in competitions meets, galas and training camps. These roles are described below, and we are always looking for parents and volunteers to take up one or more of these roles and help the club thrive. As well as these roles, there are various other ways you can support the club, formal and informal. Please contact our club secretary at [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering your time.

Team Managers

Team Managers are roles which are absolutely fundamental to our ability to successfully run domestic and international competition meets, galas and swim camps. Team Managers and have a high degree of influence and responsibility for the arrangements, and are responsible for the administration and coordination of the event, making arrangements for travel, itineraries and accommodation. They also have an essential role in fundraising and organisation to help us put on the event. Team Managers provide swimmers with pastoral care and support if needed while away from home. They are the central point of contact for swimmers and parents, and are responsible for health and safety, safeguarding and wellbeing of our swimmers throughout the event.
