Club Championships
Otters Swimming Club Only
Gala
Ususually a team event - teams selected by coaches.
Novice Gala
For 'first timers' in compeititions - teams slected by coaches.
Thames Valley League
Teams selected by coaches - swum over three rounds. For younger swimmers 9 - 12 year olds.
Milton Keytnes League
Teams selected by coaches - swum over three rounds. For younger swimmers 9 - 12 year olds.
The National Swimming League
Teams selected by coaches - swum over three rounds.
County Championships
You have to have achieved a qualifying time to compete in this event. The times can be achieved in time trials or at other galas, open meets and Club Championships.
Open Meet
Can be an all day event or over a weekend, most events covered from 25m to 400m depending on king of open meet. Entry Forms given out at training sessions and must be returned by certain date. Payment by swimmer to compete in Heats and Finals. Normally if you finish in the top three in an event you will recieve a medal/trophy. Coaches will advise you on what events to enter.
