National Arena League

Chalfont Otters are back in National Arena League Division 1 after a five year absence.

In the three National League Galas, Chalfont Otters came 1st, 2nd and again 2nd on Saturday night gaining promotion back to Division 1 (South West). In the final Otters came 2nd to a very strong Thanet team and a massive 57 points ahead of third place Brighton.

All swimmers swam magnificently with a high percentage of personal bests and even club records, which have stood for years, were smashed.

Chiltern League - Rd 3

Chalfont Otters competed in the Chilterns League Final at Hemel Hempstead. The team had a great night, swam really well and had lots of fun.

When the first scores were announced we were in joint first place with Bourne End. As the event drew to a close we were narrowly beaten into second place by Hemel themselves. Our Captains for the night, Amber Palmer and Luke Yearwood, collected the trophies, to rousing cheers from the whole team.

A massive thanks to everyone, both parents and coaches, who helped on the night and behind the scenes. And even bigger congratulations to all the swimmers for competing so confidently and racing so well. We were very proud of you all.

Novice Gala

Chalfont Otters competed in the second Amersham Novice Gala this year with a team primarily made up of our less experienced swimmers. Despite some nerves, the swimmers approached the competition with enthusiasm and excitement.

Everyone spurred teammates on and we quickly moved into a strong second place. As the Gala drew to a close, the winning team, Ruislip & Northwood, had little more than a ten point lead, due to our consistently good placing throughout the events. Congratulation to all the swimmers who were well disciplined both in and out of the pool.
